10 new corona positive found in Ranchi and Dumka, number of COVID-19 infected in Jharkhand increased to 125
After giving relief for three consecutive days, on Tuesday, eight new patients have been confirmed in Corona in Ranchi and two in Dumka. With this, the number of positive patients has increased to 125 in the state. While the Kovid-19 figure has reached 91 in Ranchi, Dumka has become the 13th district of Jharkhand where infected patients have been found. According to Civil Surgeon Dr. Vijay Bihari Prasad, out of the eight patients found in Ranchi, four will be called from Hindpeedhi.
While three patients are from Hindpidhi Mohalla, the fourth patient is a girl from an apartment in the street next to Capitol Hill. Three family members, including the child's parents, have already come positive. Earlier on Friday, two patients were found in Ranchi, including a woman from Pundag and a male from Hindpidhi. Whereas, two patients were found in Deoghar on Saturday.
Two corona positives found in
Dumka Two people have been found corona positive in Saraiyahat block of Dumka district. This has been confirmed by Dumka Deputy Commissioner Rajeshwari B. The Deputy Commissioner said that on May 1, 9 laborers from Gurgaon were brought to Saraiyahat and placed in the Quarantee Center built in Kasturba Vidyalaya. Out of these, the investigation report of seven laborers has turned negative while the investigation report of two has been found positive.
