This is his Hindustan: Salim breaks blood by donating blood to save 8-year-old Nikhil
In Jharkhand, one such example of humanity has been seen, in which a Sakhsh was shown the biggest religion to save someone's life by breaking the shackles of religion. Salim Ansari of Kusmarja of Bagodar block of Giridih has set an example of humanity. Nikhil Kumar, an eight-year-old child from the village, is suffering from pneumonia. He is undergoing treatment at a nursing home in Hazaribagh.
His condition remains critical and he needs to be blood transfused repeatedly. When Salim came to know of this, he reached Hazaribagh from Bagodar irrespective of the lockdown and broke his fast before he saved his life by giving blood to Nikhil.
Sick Nikhil's brother Faljit Kumar told that even a week ago the younger brother needed blood, at that time a positive blood was available in the blood bank. Due to which he himself donated blood at that time. Nikhil is bleeding through urine.
On Friday, the doctors again told Nikhil the need for blood transfusion, but a positive blood was not available in the blood bank. He sent this message to the village through his farmer father, Beggar Mahato. All the family were upset for three days, could not find blood anywhere. Salim Ansari of the village came to know about this. Faljeet told that Salim bhai's call came.
He said that his blood type is positive, he is ready to give blood. Salim took two other youths from the village to Hazaribagh by car. Due to the lockdown, he was stopped by the police at two-three places on the way. He was able to somehow get out of those checkpoints by showing the doctor's prescription and telling him to let the child bleed. Salim Ansari's fast was on.
